VIRTUAL Production set
Tasked with creating a playful atmosphere for a pre-recorded musical production, CRAMER Ent. designed an interactive virtual set for Rap-Punzel, a children’s musical (Garrity, 2009). Areas of transparency (top of the castle, front of the garden, in the shack, in the forest) allowed post-production editors to overlay actors’ images on the set and manipulate their interactions, mimicking live-action.
